Tikal and Belize

On top of Tikal temple IV at sunset on Valentines day 2009. Better than our average V-Day date. The Starwars rebel base is in the background.













Suz in a tunnel into the G-group of ruins at Tikal. This tunnel went about 20 feet then turned 90 degrees and went another 30 feet into a sweet courtyard.





















Us at Temple I. The first excavated. The park is about 220 square miles of rainforest. The city took in about 7 sq miles. We walked and hiked 10 miles around the city on Valentines day.

Lightning-Fast Jason at the Dualing-tree. His shell casings hitting my shoulder every second kept messing me up. Not fare. I did not have a chance.



Brian doing the timed course. 2nd fastest time they have ever had (snow, cold, and all)--Jason was the only person to do it faster. Beat the fastest cop to ever do it by almost a full second.

Top of Utah Marathon

I ran the Provo Marathon 2 weeks before and my legs felt it at Logan. I did a 1hr 49min first half then decided to "shut it down" (finished in 3:53) hoping to save some legs for St George on Oct 4th.


This was my 4th Marathon of 2008 (30+ overall). I took the summer off this year and it slowed me down from my 3:33 at TOU last year (3:26 at St George).
